About This Role

As an Intern at Barclay Advisory Services Ltd, you’ll gain practical experience working across project controls, digital technology and AI.

You’ll support the team with research, data analysis, project activities and the development of new digital workflows and tools.

The role is suited to someone at the beginning of their career who is interested in how technology and AI are changing the way major projects are planned, managed and delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Support project controls and digital delivery activities.

  • Assist with research, data collection and analysis.

  • Support the development and testing of AI-enabled tools and automated workflows.

  • Help prepare project information, reports and presentations.

  • Research new technologies and potential applications within project delivery.

  • Work alongside experienced project controls and digital professionals.

  • Contribute ideas for improving internal processes and digital solutions.

Requirements

  • Currently studying or recently completed a relevant degree or qualification.

  • Interest in project management, project controls, technology or AI.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable working with data and digital tools.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Willingness to learn new technologies and ways of working.

  • Curiosity about how AI and automation can be applied to complex projects.
