About This Role
As a Cyber Security Consultant at Barclay Advisory Services Ltd, you’ll support the security of our digital solutions, systems and data across complex project environments.
You’ll assess security risks, advise on appropriate controls and help ensure digital tools and applications are designed and operated with security in mind.
The role is suited to a security professional who can combine practical cybersecurity expertise with an understanding of modern cloud applications, AI, data protection and digital delivery.
Responsibilities
Assess cybersecurity risks across digital applications, systems and infrastructure.
Review application architecture, access controls, authentication and data security.
Support secure development and deployment of digital tools and AI-enabled applications.
Identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate security controls and remediation.
Support security policies, procedures, risk assessments and technical documentation.
Advise development and project teams on cybersecurity requirements and best practices.
Support incident management, security monitoring and continuous improvement of security controls.
Requirements
Experience working in cybersecurity, information security or security consulting.
Strong understanding of application, cloud and infrastructure security.
Knowledge of authentication, access management, encryption and data protection.
Experience conducting security assessments and identifying technical vulnerabilities.
Understanding of cybersecurity risk management and security frameworks.
Ability to communicate security risks and requirements clearly to technical and non-technical teams.
Interest in securing AI, automation and modern digital applications.
